Plastic Surgery Holiday Gift Ideas

Many people are surprised when I tell them the holiday season is one of our busiest times.  It’s an especially popular time for Mommy Makeovers and Tummy Tucks. The usual reaction is- Why now?

Most patients like to take advantage of the Holiday vacation time for their recovery since many of these operations require 6 to 8 weeks off work. It is also a great time for family or friends to be available to help with their recovery. Some patients may be able to get back to work in 2 to 3 weeks, but I prefer extending the at home time to ensure a full recovery. At this point, we are pretty booked for the holidays, so if you want to have surgery during this time you should call today to schedule. If you haven’t already scheduled, you may want to think about some non-surgical gifts.

Gifts you may want to consider giving or better yet receiving that don’t involve surgery include

CoolSculpting. You can come to our CoolSculpting event on December 3rd and get 25% off treatment packages for you or someone on your list.  In addition, 10% of your purchase will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Another option would be Ultherapy. Our new Ultherapist Pat has been busy over the past few months, but she still has some open slots available before the end of the year.  It will take at least 3 months to see the benefits of Ultherapy, but it is a nice non-surgical way to lift and rejuvenate your face, neck, and chest. Not everyone is a good candidate, so I evaluate every patient before they can undergo the procedure.  A third option that is perfect for everyone is our Elta MD line of skin care products.  We sell a variety of products including cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreens. Even though we don’t see a lot of sun this time of year, all these products are essential to prevent drying out and UV damage. Ask Hilda for samples the next time you are in the office.

Now that I have given you plenty of gift ideas, I would appreciate any ideas you have for what I should get my wife.  Just go to our facebook page and post on our timeline.  Keep in mind with my schedule I won’t have a lot of time to go shopping and I definitely don’t want to go to the mall!
